May is Lupus Awareness Month and we’re supporting the Michigan Lupus Foundation

May is Lupus Awareness Month and we are joining the fight against Lupus with our newest donation piece!

Lupus is a chronic, autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body, often difficult to diagnose and treat.  It is estimated that 1.5 million Americans live with the disease and it is the Michigan Lupus Foundation’s mission to help those living with lupus through support, education and reattach with the goal of finding a cure.

We are excited to be donating to the Michigan Lupus Foundation with every Lotus Mixed Metal Pendant sold.

Handmade Lotus Flower Pendant Michigan Lupus Foundation Fundraiser by Beth Millner Jewelry

The pendant is part of Beth’s newest floral series, launched mid April.  We are excited by the great response to our newest fundraiser piece and look forward to helping support this great cause!

  1. Wow, very unique and beautiful design, is that made of precious metals and gems? My very good friend had a wife that had Lupus. I am very well aware of what lupus is and what it does. Thanks for using your sales to support to fight and cure lupus.

    • Hi Rick,

Thanks for the kind words! The Lotus piece is made from recycled sterling silver and copper. We love giving back to our community and have a number of pieces in our shop that donate a portion of the proceeds to different charities and organizations. 🙂 Please let me know if you have any other questions!
