Haylee’s Treasure and a Kickstarter Campaign!

Haylee's TreasureI am proud to announce that I will be part of a kickstarter campaign to help a childrens book go into print!  If you are not familar with Kickstarter, I feel it is an alternate way of conducting business while supporting the things you love and helping to kickstart them!  The reason I am a part of this is because my Copper Robin Pendant is featured in the book!

I will be shooting some video footage for the kickstarter campaign today to help get the childrens book, Haylee’s Treasure off of the ground and into print.  This book was written by Mara MacKay and illustrated by Stephanie Bajema.

Words of Author Mara MacKay:
Haylee’s Treasure is a story based on a historical artifact.  In 1994 my Grandma passed on and left me a simple Munising bowl made at the Munising Woodenware Factory.  The factory operated in Munising, Michigan from 1911-1955. Wood products and factory operations are featured in the book.
This book is a collaborative project.  Michiganders have given their time, talent and soul to share Michigan’s history, nature and art in the pages of this book. Here are some images from the creative journey that is shaping and influencing the lives of those involved and soon – many young readers!  Join us on the journey….read more
There are many artists featured in the book and are now part of the History CPR Craft Guild.
Please stay tuned for the release of the kickstarter campaign and I do hope you will be able to help us make this book project a reality!
